Welcome to Pathfinders, an engaging and interactive 16-week course designed for children who already have a small base in English and are ready to explore more!
In this class, your child will continue their English language journey by diving into fun themes like feelings, pets, toys, weather, jungle animals, and more.
Just like First Steps, Pathfinders offers small group classes (only 4 children per group), ensuring that your child receives personalized attention and an engaging, age-appropriate learning experience that builds on their existing knowledge and sets them on the path to English language success!
Highlighted learning objectives:
- Basic Yes/No Questions: Answer simple yes/no questions to practice basic questioning skills. (e.g., “Do you like apples?” “Yes, I do.”)
- Use “I have” to talk about possession (e.g., “I have a toy,” “I have a cat.”)
- Use “I am” to describe how they feel: Create basic sentences to talk about feelings. (e.g., “I am happy,” “I am scared.”)
- Identify and use vocabulary words for toys, pets, jungle animals
- Ask and answer basic questions about the weather: (e.g., “Is it sunny?” “Yes, it is.”)
- Talk about days of the week for activities: (e.g., “I go to school on Monday,” “We visit on Sunday.”)
- Name months of the year for events: (e.g., “My birthday is in May,” “School starts in September.”)
