Welcome to Voyagers, an exciting 16-week advanced course designed to challenge your child and take their English skills to the next level!
In this class, we’ll explore engaging themes like Winter, Forest Animals, Landscapes, Directions, Measurements and more.
With small group settings (only 5 children per group), Voyagers offers a personalized learning experience designed to challenge and excite your child as they continue their journey to English fluency!
Highlighted learning objectives:
- Use “supposed to” and “meant to” to talk about expectations, plans, or obligations (You’re supposed to wear a coat when you go outside in the snow.”)
- Use modals of deduction (must, might, can’t) to make logical assumptions about past or present situations (“That can’t be a bear; the paw prints are too small.”)
- Use conditionals (zero, first, and second) to discuss real and hypothetical situations related to landscapes (“If it rains a lot, the river floods.”)
- Use “along,” “across,” “through,” and “around” to describe the route or path to follow.
- Use adverbs for measurements, focusing on the accuracy, extent, or manner in which something is measured (e.g., precisely, roughly, accurately, significantly).
- Use “as… as” for comparisons of equality (“The bear is as strong as an ox,” “Her hair is as black as the night.”)
- Use ordinals for the position of planets in the solar system, or steps of a space mission (from launch to return)
